Its production is classic with destemming, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 11/13 days, temperature control between 29-30ºC, daily pumping over and punch-downs, long macerations for a period of 12 days after fermentation to guarantee great extract. A structured, complex, powerful and silky wine. With sweet and elegant tannins that have been polished during oak aging. A careful manual selection of grapes is made for the production of Marqués de Vargas Reserva, coming from 50 hectares of our own vineyard. Marqués de Vargas contributes to environmental care and practices sustainable agriculture, neither herbicides nor pesticides are used in our vineyards. This wine is made in a traditional way using cutting-edge technology.
Barrel aging: 20 months in American, French and Russian oak barrels.
Temperature 17-18ºC and we recommend decanting before serving. Acidity: 5.40 g/l in tartaric Ph: 3.63 Cork: Natural extra-flower 49×24.
