RED WINE RENÉ BARBIER MEDITERRANEAN RED This wine is part of the D.O. Penedés. This wine has been produced in the Penedés region, an area that is a depression, surrounded by mountains that protect the terrain from the cold northern winds. It has a maceration process in which the solid parts of the grape are preserved to give the wine fruitiness and provide its characteristic color and aroma. TASTING NOTES RENÉ BARBIER MEDITERRANEAN RED WINE: Visually it stands out for its intense red color with violet tones. On the nose, varietal aromas of forest fruits reminiscent of blackberries with vanilla nuances. On the palate it presents medium-structured tannins, smooth with a finish showing licorice details. WINE PAIRING RENÉ BARBIER MEDITERRANEAN RED: It is very good as an accompaniment to any type of meat, as well as cold cuts and cheeses. Serve this wine at a temperature of 16 to 19ºC.
