The grape varieties used are 42% Syrah, 33% Tempranillo and 25% Merlot. It belongs to Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla. Red Wine Mazacruz has received awards such as the Citadelle d’argent 2013, 88 Peñín Points and 3 stars. Its production is very carefully crafted. First, manual harvesting is done selecting the best quality grape clusters, followed by cold maceration and fermentation at 26ºC in steel tanks. When the fermentation process is finished, malolactic fermentation is carried out in French oak barrels for 4 months. The production of Red Wine Mazacruz is 20,500 bottles. Tasting notes for Red Wine Mazacruz: On sight it boasts a beautiful cherry red color. On the nose it is very intense in aromas with red fruits such as plum or blackberry. On the palate it is very pleasant with fruit predominance and sweet touches, finishing with a well-rounded finish. The perfect pairing that would accompany this wine would be fried eggs, marinated partridge or chops. The alcohol content of Red Wine Mazacruz is 14.5%. The ideal temperature to serve this wine is at 17ºC.
