This wine belongs to the vineyards and wineries of Barbadillo, known simply by the name Barbadillo, with a Protected Geographical Indication Vinos de la Tierra de Cádiz. It is composed of 100% Palomino Fino grape. According to our accounting records, the name “Vino Blanco del Castillo” dates back to 1883, however we did not begin bottling it by vintage until 1975, making it the first white wine produced in Andalusia. Today it is the reference white wine in Spain. Castillo de San Diego is an icon for the winery and a national benchmark. Floral, fruity, harmonious, light… More than a wine, Castillo de San Diego is a way of being. It has an alcohol content of 12%. It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 6°C and 8°C.
