The Red Wine Hacienda de Arínzano is a Vino de Pago, crafted by Propiedad de Arínzano with grape varieties Tempranillo 85%, Merlot 10% and Cabernet Sauvignon 5%. Awards: Guía Gourmet: 95 pts. Guía Peñín: 92 pts. Wine Trophy: GOLD MEDAL. Propiedad de Arínzano is located in northwest Spain, between La Rioja and Bordeaux. It stands out for the exclusivity of its terroir, its history, art and environment as well as its great capacity to produce wines with a singular character and maximum quality. They develop sustainable viticulture that respects the environment and use the most advanced techniques to guarantee artisanal treatment. It is the first property in northern Spain to have received the Vino de Pago designation, which is the highest category a wine can obtain in Spain, superior to Denominación de Origen Calificada. The Red Wine Hacienda de Arínzano has been aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, 40% new and the remaining 60% in second-wine barrels. It is a very elegant, fine and balanced wine, with good structure and persistence and a capacity for slow evolution in bottle.
