The Gramona La Maca Macabeo White Wine is a wine made with 100% Macabeo grapes from biodynamic agriculture and winemaking certified with the DEMETER seal. Production: Hand harvested, using selection table and gravity entry of grapes. Grape cooling, whole cluster pressing and meticulous fractioning of must. Maceration between 0ºC – 5ºC with lees (up to 20%) obtained from settling from Macabeo used for the production of our sparkling wines. During fermentation, these precious precursors that had been preserved cold are incorporated.
The maceration lasts 2 to 3 weeks. Ferments in barrels of various uses (more than 10 years), they don’t seek contribution from the wood but rather a light mineralization. The wine spends 6 months in bottle.
