Sintauto Graciano

90 points Peñín Guide. Sintauto is a red wine made by Bodegas y Viñedos Ilurce with 100% Graciano grapes. It has aging in French oak barrels. Vineyard: Grapes from our “Los Olivos” vineyard, located in the lower area of the slopes of Yerga, in the municipality of Alfaro. This was planted in 1995 and whose vines are trained on trellises. Winemaking: The harvest is done by hand. The grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed, before filling the tank where maceration and fermentation occur simultaneously. The time the skins remain in the tank is optimal to obtain a long-lived varietal wine. It remains in French oak for around 12 months, depending on the vintage. We are facing a wine free from any type of treatment, which may present a slight sediment at the bottom of the bottle, a consequence of its natural evolution.
