Resalte Origen Magnum 1.5L Red Wine

Resalte Origen Red Wine is their most internationally recognized wine, 3 times best Spanish wine, and one of the best in the world, TOP 100 by Wine Spectator in 2010 and 2011 and by Wine Enthusiast in 2019. VINEYARD It comes from Tempranillo vineyards, over 30 years old with yields below 4,500 kilos per hectare, located in 6 different villages throughout the Ribera del Duero. Different soils, altitudes, different sun exposures… that bring complexity to the final wine. Each origin is crafted and aged separately, enhancing and preserving their virtues to be showcased in the final wine. WINEMAKING The plots are harvested at their optimal ripeness moment, after strict analytical and tasting control in the field, at that moment the grape expresses its best qualities. Manual harvest that is selected at the winery entrance leaving only the bunches that present excellent health and ripeness. After destemming, winemaking is carried out by gravity without the use of aggressive pumping that would damage the grape. Total maceration is around 18 days. AGING: 14 months in barrel, 80% French and 20% American, with racking every 4 months. 4 months of rest for the final blend in tank. Unfiltered wine, with time light sediments may appear as a result of natural evolution.
