The Prima red wine is 90% Tinta de Toro and 10% Garnacha, from vineyards between 5 and 25 years old located in different plots in San Román, Villaester and Morales. Belonging to the D.O. Toro. This wine belongs to Bodegas Mauro, showing their expertise, achieving a modern and appealing Toro wine. For the production of this wine, vineyard plots are used that due to their characteristics don’t fit with the character of San Román, which is more mineral and exuberant. The Prima 2011 red wine has an aging of 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
Recommended serving temperature between 14º and 15º C, it doesn’t need to be decanted, it has a cellaring potential of up to 5 years.
