La Bruja Averia

Red Wine La Bruja Averia, made with 100% Garnacha grapes. This wine is produced by Comando G Viticultores, with Denominación de Origen Vinos de Madrid. The vineyards, aged 50 to 90 years, are located in Cadalso de los Vidrios and Rozas de Puerto Real (Sierra de Gredos), worked organically and biodynamically to obtain the best possible grapes, with steep slopes that are worked by hand and with mules in certain areas. Regarding the winemaking process, the grapes are carefully handled with minimal destemming, gentle fermentations, using open barrels and foot-treading the grapes rather than using pumps and aggressive pump-overs. Comando G takes special care in aging their Red Wine La Bruja Averia in wood, as they believe that Garnacha is very sensitive to wood and therefore their aging is carried out in large vessels. Regarding aging, it has 5-7 months of aging in French oak barrels. We recommend serving this wine at a temperature between 14 and 16ºC.
