The Son Vich Costers Red Wine is an authentic jewel among red wines. Coming from the best slopes of the Serra de Tramuntana, this winemaking marvel captures the essence of the region and exhibits a unique personality. If you’re looking for a red wine with character and distinction, Son Vich Costers is the perfect choice. The vines used in the production of Son Vich Costers are carefully selected from a 1.4-hectare vineyard plot. These vines are located on slopes exposed to the rising sun, which allows the grapes to reach their full potential and develop a distinctive personality. The care and dedication in the selection of the vines guarantee the quality and expressiveness of the wine.
The winemaking process of Son Vich Costers is carried out with patience and meticulousness.
The grapes are destemmed without crushing, which allows the clusters to preserve their integrity and transmit their unique characteristics to the wine.
Fermentation takes place at high temperature and the wine macerates for 25 days in stainless steel and oak tanks, which contributes to the extraction of intense flavors and aromas. After fermentation and maceration, Son Vich Costers remains in contact with its lees for 5 months, without additives or artificial interventions. This lees aging adds complexity and texture to the wine, providing a unique oenological experience. Subsequently, the wine ages for 12 months in American oak barrels and continues its evolution in bottle for another 10 months, reaching its fullness and refinement. OPTIMAL SERVING TEMPERATURE: 17 – 18°C after decanting.
