La Encina del Inglés

La Melonera presents the Red Wine La Encina del Inglés from D.O. Sierras de Málaga (Spain), crafted from grape varieties Tintilla de Rota (50%), Tempranillo (30%), Syrah (20%). Ronda, an essential part of the Great South Tour of the romantic English travelers of the 19th century, is the setting that inspires this elegant young red wine with a touch of aging. La Encina del Inglés Red Wine is our tribute to those Englishmen who, enamored and respectful of the Ronda landscapes, contributed to giving this beautiful Andalusian city a universal character. Made with medium maceration and controlled fermentation at 25ºC, this wine has been aged for 6 months in medium-toasted Allier oak barrels, completing its process in bottle. Bodega La Melonera celebrates the authentic and indigenous from the Serranía de Ronda, where each bottle of La Encina del Inglés is testimony to a deep-rooted winemaking tradition and a landscape that continues to inspire generations.
