Valtravieso Nogara

It is a White Wine of great elegance and personality, crafted by Valtravieso Bodegas y Viñedos in the prestigious Rueda Denomination of Origin. This wine, produced from the Verdejo variety, captures the essence of this native grape, offering an aromatic and silky profile that makes it unique. Made with selected grapes from vineyards located in Puras, south of the province of Valladolid, at an altitude of approximately 850 meters, Valtravieso Nogara stands out for its freshness and fruity character. The irregular soils, mainly poor and sandy with pebbles, contribute to the wine’s balance and volume, while the deeper layers, stronger and clayey, allow water storage to regulate its development during the warmer months. Regarding the winemaking process, Valtravieso Nogara benefits from a careful selection of grapes from centenary bush-trained vineyards, which ferment in barrels, and from trellised vineyards, which ferment in stainless steel tanks. This fermentation process is carried out on its own lees for a period of at least 6 months, which adds complexity and depth to the wine without losing its natural freshness. The wine rests in French oak barrels and foudres, as well as in stainless steel, before being blended to homogenize its character. After a meticulous clarification and filtration process, Valtravieso Nogara is bottled, ready to seduce the most demanding palates with its authenticity and balance.
