Bodegas La Casa Maguila presents the Red Wine Angelitos Negros, D.O. Toro made with 100% Tinta de Toro grapes and aged in wood. The red wine Angelitos Negros is a young red wine with crianza, made with 100% Tempranillo grapes that age for 6 months in mixed French and American oak barrels of 1 and 2 uses. 6 months in French and American oak barrels and 9 months in bottle without riddling. It is a young and fruity wine due to its youth, which has taken the best from the wood to perfectly blend its aromas of forest fruits and flowers with spiced notes.
The grapes are harvested manually and selected. After destemming and light crushing of most of the grapes, they are pressed and the wine ferments in stainless steel tanks.
Malolactic fermentation takes place in cement tanks before moving to barrel. Angelitos Negros is perfect to drink with white meats, soft cheeses, red meats or rice dishes. It can be tasted at a temperature of 16°C.
Bodega La Casa Maguila: La Casa Maguila is the personal project of Jesús Peña, a sales director turned viticulturist and winemaker, who in 2009 decided to valorize the family wine tradition and launch into making his own wines. He chose the family nickname Maguila, which his father, grandfather and great-grandfather once carried, and with his old vineyards began to bring to light creations that, due to their freshness, fruity character, and modern profile, are irresistible to the public, like the timeless boleros he is fond of. Angelitos Negros is one of his latest proposals, a red wine perfect to enjoy with all kinds of appetizers, tapas and pinchos, but also with white and red meats and traditional dishes like fried eggs with ham.
