The Red Wine Arínzano La Casona is a Vino de Pago, crafted by Propiedad de Arínzano with grape varieties Tempranillo 75% and Merlot 25%. Awards: Verema Guide: 95 pts. Peñín Guide: 93 pts. Concours Mondial de Bruxelles: GOLD MEDAL. Propiedad de Arínzano is located in northwest Spain, between La Rioja and Bordeaux. It stands out for the exclusivity of its terroir, its history, art and environment, as well as its great capacity to produce wines with a singular character and maximum quality. They develop sustainable viticulture that respects the environment and use the most advanced techniques to guarantee artisanal treatment. It is the first property in northern Spain to have received the Vino de Pago designation, which is the highest category a wine can obtain in Spain, superior to Denominación de Origen Calificada. The Red Wine Arínzano La Casona has been aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, 40% new and the remaining 60% in second-wine barrels. It is a very complex, expressive, elegant and harmonious wine.
