The wine then ages for 18 months in barrels: 65% French oak and 35% American oak, with 25% new barrels, providing structure, aromatic complexity and a silky texture. The result is an elegant wine, with notes of ripe black fruits, spices, balsamic touches and a mineral background that reflects the identity of the terroir.
