The Red Wine Cerro Añon Crianza from Grupo Bodegas Olarra presents this Red Wine from D.O.Ca Rioja (Spain) made with Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo grape varieties.
Crianza This Red Wine Cerro Añon Crianza has an aging of 14 to 16 months in American oak barrels, which underwent periodic racking. After being clarified and bottled, the wine remains in bottle for a minimum of four months before going on sale. Production The Red Wine comes from grapes from Rioja Alta, Media and Rioja Alavesa, obtaining the best from each region to achieve an unmatched blend. Once in the winery, the grapes are selected and enter fermentation at 20 to 26°C to preserve varietal aromas. Daily pump-overs are also carried out during the must maceration process for 18 days. Finally, a third of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in new French and American oak barrels. Bodegas Olarra The origins of this winery come from a building, a work by Juan Antonio Ridruejo in 1973, designed and conceived for wine. The most emblematic feature is its roof that crowns the barrel room, which consists of 11 hexagonal domes that help avoid sudden temperature changes. This design was meant to be transmitted to the wines and in the way of making wines, as in Añares, where they seek a wine that adapts and evolves to stay in trend over time. To become emblems of true Rioja wine. The Añares line includes not only red wines, but also whites, rosés and special vintages. This positions Bodegas Olarra as one of the emblematic wineries of the area and has remained a reference for Rioja wine, adaptable and that has known how to continue through time.
