94 points James Suckling. Wine type and grape: Special Reserva Red Wine. Grape: 100% Tempranillo. Production: Selected grapes from vineyards over 40 years old. Vat fermentation of destemmed grapes. Controlled temperature fermentation (28ºC). Long maceration for approximately 28 days.
Aging and maturation: In new French oak Bordeaux barrels of 225l capacity. Time spent in wood: 24 months.
Bottle aging: minimum of 15 months. Color: Intense bright ruby with light garnet iridescence on the rim, full-bodied.
Aroma: Complex, ripe fruits, spices, vanilla, cinnamon, toasted bread, ripe plums with a sweet, delicate and complex touch.
Taste: Long and silky with smooth tannins, both from the wine and the barrel, velvety, elegant and very well balanced.
