Subsequently, the wine undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in 6,500-liter French oak wooden vats, providing complexity, smoothness, and an unmistakable velvety texture.

Aging extends between 12 and 14 months in French oak Bordeaux barrels, where the wine acquires its most elegant nuances: notes of cocoa, vanilla, sweet spices, and toasted touches that integrate harmoniously with ripe red fruit. Afterwards, it rests for a minimum of 10 months in bottle within the winery’s cellars, where it reaches its optimal balance point before going to market. Visually, the David Perica Selección Familiar shows an intense cherry red color with violet reflections.
