Emina Crianza

Emina Crianza Red Wine is a wine made from 100% Tempranillo selected harvest. Fermentation for 21 days in stainless steel tanks (26ºC). Aging for 12 months in American oak from Missouri forests and French oak from Tronçais forests. After aging in barrels and bottling, it undergoes 12 more months of aging and refinement in bottle, finishing the polishing of tannins and maturing the aromas. Bodega Emina Ribera belongs to the Matarromera Group, a collection of wine companies that originated in 1988, when Carlos Moro, with a long family winemaking tradition, decided to build his own winery, Matarromera. Emina Crianza is a wine made with Tempranillo from estates located in Valbuena and Pesquera de Duero, at an average altitude of 750 meters above clay-loam soils. Estates of Los Apriscos, Viñas Rosas, El Almendro, La Hinojera and Valdevaniego. Vineyards located near the Monastery of Santa María de Valbuena, birthplace of Ribera del Duero. The Cistercian monks reintroduced vine cultivation in the Middle Ages.
