The Red Wine Excelencia de Emilio Clemente from Bodegas Emilio Clemente with D.O. Utiel Requena is made with Cabernet (52%) and Merlot (48%) grapes. Hand-harvested during nighttime to ensure perfect temperature. It ferments in open French oak barrels of 300 l., with constant manual punch-downs that put the skins in contact with the must-wine. There is a subsequent malolactic fermentation in the same barrels where it ages in contact with its own lees for 16 months.
Alcohol content: 13%.
