Lavia Origen

The Red Wine Lavia Origen from D.O. Bullas features 100% Monastrell grape variety from vineyards over 50 years old. The soil of this vineyard is deep alluvial with limestone base, poor in organic matter and clay presence occurs in grains with thicker skins. Vinification is manual, for the elaboration of this wine it macerates for 10 days under controlled temperature, undergoes malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging for 12 months in French Oak barrels. The 2014 vintage of Lavia Origen wine obtained 91 points from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. Lavia wines are wines with great craftsmanship, these wines are born from the land located in Venta del Pino, where there is great landscape richness and strong viticultural character, this is where Monastrell variety plots are located at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level.
