Malpaso Syrah

Malpaso expresses the potential of this grape variety, adapted to the strict conditions of the Méntrida area. Malpaso is a reflection of the objective with which this Toledo winery was created, which is none other than processing wines conceived from the vineyard, practicing ecological viticulture and venerating the grape to the maximum. Made with Syrah grapes from the trellis vineyards between 15 and 20 years old that the winery owns in the municipality of Camarena, Malpaso is a powerful red wine, well-structured and with a full and lasting finish. The sandy surface on which the vineyards are arranged – at an altitude of 400 meters – is very suitable for the fruit to reach full ripeness. In addition, the climate of the area, mainly dry and with different temperature variations between summer and winter, combined with twelve months of aging in French oak barrels of 400 and 500 liters, reveal Malpaso as an elegant, distinguished wine with personality. TASTING NOTES MALPASO SYRAH RED WINE Sight: Bright, ripe cherry red color with garnet nuances. Nose: Black fruit and Mediterranean herbs, combined with delicate aging notes.
