An exclusive wine, made with grapes 80% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo and 5% Garnacha, grown in the vineyards “El Cónsul”, “La Misela” and “Terrazas”, whose vines have an average age of over 35 years. The winery, nestled in the center of its own vineyard, following the château concept, is located in the heart of the Ebro valley, in an area popularly known as Los Tres Marqueses, as it aligns the vineyards of three renowned Rioja wineries, founded by respective marquises. A privileged location for vine cultivation due to its extreme continental climate with Atlantic influence and gentle topography of clay-limestone soils that allow the production of balanced red wines, especially suitable for barrel aging, with body and high total acidity.
Aging: 18 months in new Russian oak barrels. Regular racking every 4 months at first and then every 6 months.
Serving temperature: 17-18ºC.
