Odum Selección Monastrell Organic Red Wine. Odum comes from organic Monastrell, produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Ecológicos Odum and has a designation of origin located in the areas of Yecla and Jumilla, in the Altiplano region of Murcia. Cultivated on limestone soil hillsides under a mountain microclimate, whose conditions result in a suggestive wine, offering a wide range of aromas and flavors, with a cherry red color and dark tones.
The grapes are harvested in the first half of October, with 100% daytime, manual harvesting. Production involves destemming and maceration for a period of 21 days. Aged in 400l barrels – fine grain – French origin. Contains 15.10% alcohol by volume. This organic wine has obtained a Gold Medal at the National Monovarietal Wine Competition organized by the association of gastronomic and oenological press media ‘A la mesa’, in collaboration with the Aula Abierta del Vino.
