The Red Wine Paco García Seis from Bodegas Paco García presents us with this Red Wine from D.O.Ca La Rioja (Spain) made with the Tempranillo grape variety.

Aging This Red Wine Paco García Seis has been aged in 225-liter French oak barrels for six months. Harvest This wine has been manually harvested in the El Paraje del Seis vineyards, an estate from 2007 located at about 510 meters above sea level where there is great ventilation that keeps the area cool. The soil type of these vineyards is sandy loam and there is a balance between leaf surface and vine production. The grape variety for this wine is Tempranillo and it is late-ripening. Winemaking Once in the winery, the grape berries are separated from the cluster and go to a tank where they will remain for about 48 hours at a controlled temperature between 5 to 10 degrees. Then it ferments at low temperature where detail is maintained when mixing both the skin and seeds and liquid through an innovative disaggregation system in which “the cap” remains totally submerged in the liquid. This is how more color and aromas are extracted from the variety and what makes the Red Wine Paco García Seis so special. The Tempranillo This late-harvest variety produces high-quality wines, with good body and structure that highlights aromatic complexity and a high alcohol degree with low acidity. Being a variety with few tannins, it helps this type of wine to be fine, kind and silky in the mouth.
