On April 22, 1995, GORDONZELLO S.A. was established as a public limited company with the support of 101 partners, who contributed their 305 hectares of land. Grape variety: 100% Prieto Picudo from our vineyards in the town of Gordoncillo (León). Soil type: Gravel – loamy – clayey. Geographic area: Denomination of Origin “Tierra de León”. Winemaking: selected manual harvest in 12 kg boxes. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging, with battonage, in new 500-liter French oak barrels with medium toast. Aging time: 15 months in new French oak barrels. Wine type: young oak red wine.
