Protos Crianza

Leading brand in Ribera del Duero, Protos is also one of the Spanish wineries with the strongest presence in the international market (present in over 80 countries) and one of Spain’s most historic wineries, founded in 1927. Protos’ new facilities (designed by Richard Rogers) are underground connected to the old winery, which features galleries carved into the mountain of Peñafiel Castle, where the winery’s wines currently age in excellent conditions. The Protos Crianza Red Wine is manually harvested in 20 kg boxes. Selection table. Maceration with skins and fermentation for 21 days at 28°C. It is made with 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grapes. It is aged for 14 months in American and French oak barrels.
