The Red Wine Proventus from Bodegas Tr3smano – Lagar de Proventus presents us with this red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero, made from 100% Tinta del País (Tempranillo) grape varieties. Origin of the grapes: Tinta del País vineyards planted in bush vine form supported in the Olmedillo area, at about 850 meters altitude on poor soils. From them, low yields and surprisingly high-quality fruit are achieved. Production: Hand-harvested in small boxes. Meticulous selection of grapes at the reception table. Barrel filling and aging for 12 months. Natural stabilization of the wine exclusively through racking and exposure to the cold environment.

Recommended serving temperature: 16ºC. Bodegas Tr3smano – Lagar de Proventus The name Tr3smano makes permanent reference to the initial number of dreamers who gave origin to this wine: three. It also indicates the expression from old Castilian – “trasmano” or “desmano” – to identify that which is not within arm’s reach but a little further back, that which is off the beaten path; everything that is not easy to find and achieve, as is making a good wine. For Tr3smano – Lagar de Proventus, wine is made in the vineyard. Then, innovation and tradition come together to ensure that each bottle is a small work of art. Winery Vineyards Tr3smano draws from great vineyards located in three of the best viticultural sub-zones of Ribera del Duero situated in the Golden Mile, in Valladolid. Together they total a surface area of about 55 hectares of vineyard, although all with very low production. All vineyards are planted exclusively with Tempranillo or Tinta del país – Tinta fina, mostly cultivated in bush vine training system. The work is carried out completely manually with the utmost possible care to respect the quality of the grape. The winery is surrounded by a first vineyard of 50 years: the Viña del Lagar. This one, together with the Rábano vineyard, is cultivated on very poor sandy-loam soils.
