Rosé WineConde de San Cristobal Flamingo RoséFlamingo Rosé is a rosé wine with D.O Ribera del Duero and is made with 100% Tinta Fina grape variety, from Bodega Marqués de Vargas.
The vineyards are located in the highest area of the Duero river at 900 m altitude. The soils develop on detritic sediments with gravel and have a sandy clay loam texture.
The grapes are destemmed and taken to the press where the must is collected without pressing. This settles by gravity for 48 hours. Once clean, alcoholic fermentation takes place with local yeast at 17°C. Aging on lees follows until bottling 6 months and 11 days later. During harvest, the time between bunch cutting and grape reception is 30 minutes to avoid oxidation and spontaneous fermentation.
Recommended serving temperature is between 7-9°C.
