This wine, made with 100% Tinta de Toro, pays homage to the stories and legends that enrich the region’s tradition. The name El Pillo evokes a daring and brave young man who, on a moonless night, wanted to honor the farmers of his land with a light show that illuminated the vineyards like never before. This wine captures the essence of that unforgettable night, filled with lights and colors that highlighted the beauty of Toro’s vineyards. El Pillo Viñas Rebeldes is a wine born from manual harvest, carefully selected both in the field and at the winery. This process ensures that only the best grapes from the most unique vineyards are used for its production. The malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels, which gives the wine intensity and a subtle, elegant structure that reflects the nobility of Tinta de Toro. This wine has been recognized for its exceptional quality in several international competitions. It received the Great Gold Medal at CINVE 2024 for the 2019 vintage, and was awarded 90 points in the Peñín Guide 2025 for the 2021 vintage. Additionally, it has obtained gold medals at Frankfurt International Trophy 2024, MUNDUS VINI 2024, and Berliner Wine Trophy 2024.
