Valdebebas Vendimia Seleccionada “Soleá” Red Wine is crafted with the Tempranillo variety, belongs to the D.O. Rioja, and is produced by Bodegas Occidente; the aging process is in barrels for a period of 10 months. “Soleá” is a song or style of flamenco, considered the mother of all flamenco. It is defined by its lyrical abundance, diversity and fertility. Soleá is very suited to showcase the female dancer, who can make typically feminine movements with her arms and body, performing hip undulations and waist breaks, all these movements accompanied by powerful and deep “zapateo” (footwork). The fertility of our vineyard soils in Rioja Alta provides us with this fresh wine, strong in character and delicious. This wine represents a flamenco style through its aromatic complexity, it is a powerful wine that captivates the palate that tastes it just like our dancer with all her movements.
