Attis Embaixador

The White Wine Attis Embaixador from Bodega y Viñedos Attis presents this white wine from the D.O. Rías Baixas, made from 100% Albariño grape varieties. Embaixador is a wine as unique as the vineyard from which it comes, it is a terroir wine. It perfectly expresses the peculiarities of the soil in which this vineyard is cultivated. Fermented in granite, thus enhancing the characteristics of the variety to the extreme. It is a diplomatic wine as its name indicates, serious, complex, voluminous without losing the freshness that is presumed of a white wine. Production: Manual harvest in perforated 15 kg boxes. Manual selection upon arrival at the winery. Complete destemming and pneumatic pressing. Cold settling. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with temperature control (12-15ºC). Aging in tank on fine lees for 2 years with batonnage. Clarification with fish glue. Tangential filtration. Vineyard: Selection from our ‘Embaixador’ plot of 0.5 Ha, 60 years old. Trellised (traditional pergola) with 800 vines/ha. Granitic entisol soils of clayey character. Altitude of 50 m. Organic vineyard cultivation. Behind the brand lies the wine project of brothers Robustiano and Baldomero Fariña, who together with Jean François Hebrard have set out to make different wines, paying attention to their variety, plot or production, bringing out every nuance and every aroma that the climate (humid with mild temperatures), the terroir (predominantly granitic) and, of course, the Atlantic (high salinity of the wines) give them. Respecting the characteristic features of the native varieties used, the identity of Attis is reflected with total honesty in each of their wines: an identity in which tradition, effort, patience and the know-how inherited from previous generations are the foundation.
