The White Wine Sanzo Sobre Lías is a wine made by the Rodríguez Sanzo company, which groups among its productions the most well-known Denominations of Origin in Spanish territory, Rueda. Viña Sanzo sobre Lías shows varietal aromas with touches of fennel, mint and flowers, with a background of tropical fruits.
It is recommended to serve at 10 degrees. Elaboration: Very few wineries use bâtonnage of fine lees in the tank, and few that do bâtonnage of lees in barrel. When we perform bâtonnage with the lees in the barrel we achieve more body, concentration and complexity. If we increase the proportion of lees we will increase complexity but we need to maintain the mixture for longer. This is how we have discovered a new way to produce a new Verdejo with excellent bottle aging and maximum complexity. The wine has been 50% with the lees in new barrel for 9 months, doing bâtonnage twice a day for two months and then once a day every two days until completion. Today, the wine is bottled maturing and its aromatic characteristics are unique.
