The Orange Republic

The White Wine The Orange Republic belongs to the Casa Rojo winery and is included in the D.O. Valdeorras. It is a wine made with Godello grapes from vineyards of about 30 years old from the Villa Quinta plots, the highest altitude in the D.O. Valdeorras. The production from these vineyards is approximately 5,500 kilos per hectare. Production is limited to 39,878 bottles. This wine is rebellion, but also tradition, family, past and present. It is Jazz but also Rock & Roll.

The harvest was carried out in the first half of September, manually, and in small 15-kilo boxes to preserve the optimal condition of the clusters in perfect conditions. After a meticulous selection of the grapes, they enter the winery with subsequent three-hour maceration.

Aging on fine lees (after separating the coarse lees) for 6 months, in stainless steel tanks. The wine has an alcohol content of 13.7%. It also has a total acidity of 5.7 g/l, a pH of 3.3 and 1.8 g/L of residual sugar. Wine has accompanied mankind since the beginning of time. Its culture, cultivation techniques, ways of making it, transporting it, presenting it and tasting it have constantly evolved thanks to creative people who dared to take the next step of innovation. The philosophy of Casa Rojo winery believes in this constant creative evolution and reflects it in their bottles. Casa Rojo Enología Creativa is located on the La Zarza road, km 8, La Raja, in the province of Murcia. This winery presents a project with wines from different parts of Spain with a revolutionary and groundbreaking vision.
