The red wine Pago La Pavina 2009 from Alta Pavina is made with 80% Tempranillo and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. It belongs to the Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla y León. Its winemaker is Isaac Fernández.
The vineyards are located in the Finca Pago de la Pavina, 12 hectares, belonging to the Valladolid locality of La Parrilla. At about 900 meters altitude above sea level. This wine has aging of 14 months in French and American oak barrels and another 12 months in bottle.
Serve this wine at a temperature between 16º and 18º, before serving it is recommended to decant it.
