Caecus Joven Red Wine

The Caecus Joven Red Wine is made with 95% Tempranillo and 5% Garnacha from the D.O.Ca Rioja. The history of Bodega Caecus dates back more than a century, when it was founded by a family of winegrowers dedicated to cultivating grapes on their own land. Through the generations, the winery has evolved and perfected its cultivation and winemaking techniques, always committed to excellence and innovation. Caecus Joven is made primarily from two grape varieties: Tempranillo and Garnacha. These grapes are carefully selected from the winery’s vineyards, where they are grown sustainably while respecting the natural environment. Tempranillo provides structure and elegance to the wine, while Garnacha adds fruity notes and smoothness on the palate. This combination of varieties results in a balanced wine full of personality.

The vineyards are located in Elciego, province of Álava, on the La Romañiguez estate and the wine is made by Bodegas Pago de Larrea. Caecus joven was born in 2003 with the founding of the winery. Since then, each harvest maintains the character of the terroir and the fruity aromas typical of Tempranillo.

Serve this wine at a temperature between 16º and 19º. The Caecus Joven Red Wine has 13 degrees of alcohol. The Caecus Joven red wine is ideal to enjoy in its youth, highlighting its freshness and vitality. It pairs perfectly with Mediterranean cuisine dishes, such as grilled meats, mild cheeses and cold cuts. It is also an excellent option to accompany tapas and relaxing moments with friends.
