CASTILLO DE SAJAZARRA «GOLD» AT THE BRUSSELS WORLD COMPETITION. The Castillo de Sajazarra Reserva Tempranillo Red Wine belongs to Viñedos y Bodegas Castillo de Sajazarra, with a Rioja Designation of Origin. Made from very ripe grapes from low-yield vineyards. Between 10% and 20% of the total undergoes malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, with periodic batonnages. It has an aging of 24 months in American and French oak barrels, finishing its time in wood with 3 additional months in French oak vats. Finally, it remains a minimum of 12 months in bottle before commercialization.
Recommended serving temperature between 16°C and 18°C.
