Part of the D.O. Somontano. This wine with Somontano denomination of origin is produced in Aragon, more specifically in Campo de Borja. The Coto de Hayas Reserva wine is produced with Garnacha grapes and is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, finishing its aging in bottle before distribution. TASTING NOTES COTO DE HAYAS RESERVA RED WINE: Visually it stands out for its dark ruby color with violet tones.
On the nose, fruity and spicy aromas of great intensity with toasted nuances, coffee and cocoa.
On the palate it presents itself as full-bodied with balanced tannins characteristic of oak, broad with smooth progression and a prolonged finish. FOOD PAIRING COTO DE HAYAS RESERVA RED WINE: It is excellent as an accompaniment to any type of meat, especially red meats and grilled dishes, also semi-aged cheeses and blue fish.
