El Caire red wine is a wine made with 100% Monastrell variety. This is a native grape from the area, sourced from estate vineyards aged between 25 and 35 years, harvested in the first half of October when the grape reaches its maximum level of ripeness and sugar.
The vineyards are drip-irrigated due to the low rainfall in the area. The climate features mild winters without frost and short periods of low temperatures. Spring is short and summer is long, as good temperatures last until October. For the production of El Caire Monastrell red wine, the grapes are destemmed, pressed and transferred to 25,000-liter stainless steel tanks where fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of approximately 24 degrees. Subsequently, it undergoes 6 months of barrel aging to give structure and nuances to this excellent wine with exceptional value for money.
