Lectores Vini presents the Red Wine La Selección Montsant Lectores Vini which comes from wineries located in the village of El Masroig, DO Montsant (Spain), made from grape varieties 80% Garnacha, 15% Mazuelo, 3% Tempranillo and 2% white varieties.
The vineyards develop in a Mediterranean climate with diverse ages (from 10 to 40 years) and altitudes (an average of 300 meters). Cultivation is mainly carried out using trellis systems, some in bush vines, and all are grown organically.
The 2022 harvest took place from September 4 to 21. In the winery, the grapes macerated for 9 days, with 90% destemmed bunches and 10% whole bunches.
Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, followed by 9 months aging on fine lees. The wine was gently filtered before bottling.
