The red wine Matsu El Recio is made with 100% Tinta de Toro from the D.O. Toro.
The vineyards are between 90 and 100 years old, with very limited production. Manual harvest in the first half of October. This wine ferments and macerates in 15,000-liter concrete tanks for 3 weeks. It has an aging of 14 months in French oak barrels. This wine, the middle of the Matsu Trilogy, represents the classic winemaker, who blends the power of youth with the experience of age… Like the wine itself.
Serve this wine at a temperature between 16º and 18º, decanting is recommended before serving.
