The Red Wine Viña Pomal 106 Barrica Reserva from Bodegas Bilbaínas presents us with this D.O. Rioja (Spain) wine, created from 90% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha and 5% Graciano grapes. This limited edition is a tribute to the birth of Viña Pomal in 1908, coinciding with the 2010 vintage, a historic vintage at Bodegas Bilbaínas and rated as excellent by the Regulatory Council of the Rioja Qualified Denomination of Origin. This special edition is the result of a selection of 106 barrels made by Alejandro López, winemaker at Bodegas Bilbaínas. 20 months in French and American oak barrels. The label design has recovered the same blue color of Bilbao, the city that gives its name to Bodegas Bilbaínas.
