The White Wine from Hacienda López de Haro from Bodega Hacienda López de Haro presents this D.O.C.a Rioja (Spain) White Wine, made with Viura grape variety and others. VineyardsThe vineyards are planted on poor slopes in the area of San Vicente de la Sonsierra (La Rioja). It is characterized by having a continental climate. It also features a selection of old Viura vineyards and other varieties. WinemakingThe harvest is manual and late, taking place throughout the month of October. During vinification, 24 hours of skin maceration is carried out, followed by gentle and delicate pressing, and finally, controlled fermentation in small tanks. AgingTo achieve the desired wine, aging was carried out for 3 months in barrels for one-fifth of the wine, both in French oak barrels and those from Eastern Europe.
