The White Wine Lo Foc Mas de Llucia is the result of the harmonious union between two generations of vineyards at the Mas de Llucia estate, located in the heart of Teruel (Spain). This white wine brings together the best of the Macabeo experience, planted in 1970, with the freshness and vitality of Garnacha Blanca, cultivated in 2016, achieving a balanced blend full of nuances.
The grapes come from two carefully selected plots. The white Garnacha develops on clay soil, which provides structure and minerality. The Macabeo grows in a plot near the river, where the terrain is mixed with pebbles, improving drainage and favoring the concentration of aromas. Both plots are located at more than 600 meters altitude, on the southwest slope of Punta Molinera, a location that guarantees nocturnal freshness and good aeration, essential elements to preserve natural acidity and enhance varietal character.
The elaboration of White Wine Lo Foc Mas de Llucia begins with manual harvest in 20 kg boxes, followed by meticulous selection of clusters. After destemming and crushing, cold maceration is carried out for a few hours, gently extracting the aromatic potential of the grapes. Subsequently, each variety ferments separately at low temperature for 30 days, ensuring slow fermentation while preserving primary aromas.
The process continues with aging on fine lees for 6 months, providing volume, texture and complexity on the palate. Additionally, light oak wood maceration is applied, adding elegance and subtle spiced notes without overshadowing the fruit. Finally, the blending of both varieties is performed before bottling, resulting in a balanced, expressive and very gastronomic white wine. The result is a white wine of great personality, combining freshness, structure and delicate aromatic complexity.
Ideal for pairing with fish, rice dishes, Asian cuisine or soft cheeses.
