Alto Miraltares Roble Red Wine is made from 100% Tinta del País, a native variety of the region. The vines are between 15 and 35 years old, and grapes from younger vines are destined for other wineries, ensuring that only the best quality ones are used in this wine. The vineyard is trained in bush vine style, with three arms and two spurs, oriented southeast to take advantage of the morning sun and protected from frost, guaranteeing optimal grape ripening. The soils where these vines grow are formed by layers of silty and clayey sands, with alternating limestone and marl that provide minerality and elegance to the wine. Located at 846 meters altitude, the vineyards enjoy an extreme climate that contributes to the concentration and complexity of the aromas.

The harvest is carried out manually, between October 1 and 14, 2020, selecting only healthy clusters. Total production was 64,000 kg, with a yield of 4,100 kg/ha, ensuring quality and balance.

The aging of this wine is another of its strong points: it ages for at least ten months in semi-new French and American oak barrels (50%-50%), which gives it notes of vanilla, cocoa and a light toasted touch that combines perfectly with ripe red and black fruit.

On the nose it is intense and fresh, with aromas of red fruits, spices and balsamic notes.
