The Red Wine Arínzano Gran Vino is a Vino de Pago and is made with the Tempranillo grape variety, produced by Arínzano. Awards: Guía Proensa: 96 pts. Guía Intervinos: 95 pts. Guía Peñín: 95 pts. The Arínzano Estate is located in northwestern Spain, between La Rioja and Bordeaux. It stands out for the exclusivity of its terroir, its history, art and environment as well as its great capacity to produce wines with a singular character and maximum quality. They develop sustainable viticulture that respects the environment and use the most advanced techniques to guarantee artisanal treatment. It is the first estate in northern Spain to have received the Vino de Pago designation, which is the highest category a wine can obtain in Spain, superior to the Denominación de Origen Calificada. The Red Wine Gran Arínzano has been aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, 50% new and the other 50% in second wine barrels. It is a wine that expresses all the potential of the Tempranillo variety, the vintage is characterized by being an extraordinary year in climatological terms, having a slow ripening of the grape and long evolution in bottle.
