Coming from vineyards located in the poor soils and coldest areas of Haro and its surroundings, this wine manages to maintain exceptional freshness and a distinctive profile. The result is a juicy, expressive wine with a vibrant character that captivates the most demanding palates. The Campeador Garnacha Red Wine is made from two Garnacha vineyards in Rioja Alta, located in Haro and Fonzaleche. These vineyards, established on poor soils covered with river stones, benefit from a climate that enhances varietal typicity. This translates into a wine rich in aromas, with elegant structure and unique personality. The harvest is carried out manually, with careful selection of grapes in boxes to preserve their quality. Fermentation, both alcoholic and malolactic, takes place spontaneously in small wooden barrels, adding greater richness to the wine. In February 2022, it began aging in 5-year-old American oak barrels, where it remained for 8 months, with gravity transfers from barrel to barrel.
