The Red Wine Castillo de Sajazarra Reserva Tempranillo Magnum belongs to the Vineyards and Bodegas Castillo de Sajazarra, with a Rioja Designation of Origin. It starts from very ripe grapes from low-yield vineyards. Between 10% and 20% of the total undergoes malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, with periodic batonnage. It has an aging of 24 months in American and French oak barrels, finishing its time in wood with 3 additional months in French oak vats. Finally, it remains a minimum of 12 months in bottle before commercialization.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C.
