Frontonio Supersónico

From Bodega Epilense de Vinos y Viñedos, belongs to the IGP Valdejalón (Aragón) and made with 100% Garnacha grape varieties. «The winemaker’s favorite, pure Garnacha – fresh, lively and light» Frontonio Supersónico takes its name from San Frontonio, patron saint of Épila, a town nestled in northwest Spain where this wine is produced. Legend has it that San Frontonio was beheaded by the Romans. His body was buried in a cemetery and his head was thrown into the River Ebro, near Zaragoza. Miraculously, his head was found upstream, on one of the banks of the River Jalón, in Épila. Against the current, like this limited production wine you now hold in your hands, which has been discreetly crafted in a humble garage by Fernando Mora and Mario López.
